Question can i remove the bracket on the left side of the bike ...

that mounts to the top of the jugs and holds the plug wires and has the horn mount? it looks like it mounts to the frame about the middle of the bike but doesn't seem necessary. after i moved my horn i have this ugly bracket there serving no purpose ..

i know a lot of you have relocated horns .. what's the deal with this bracket?

No, look at the very top of the bracket, it is also an engine mount.

Sure..take it off, you don't need it.

Seriously, you could take it off and grind the tab off for the horn mount...hit it with paint and you're good to go.

Put two nuts on the stud and jam them together, then use a wrench to unscrew the rubber mount. The rubber mount will feel like it is going to shear off just before it unscrews. Be careful that you don't hit the tank with the wrench when it breaks loose.

After I took off the rubber mount, I used a bolt and some wire to support the front ignition wire.

You've made some real nice custom modifications to that bike. I've noticed many subtle changes done very tastefully. Nice job!
