Looks a lot better then the relocation kit for the turn signals that changes the streamlined post to round "second thought looking" posts.... Good job.

Nice job man, looks good. I think that I will be following your lead on this one.

Nice work and clear write up, Ken! +1 on the reinforcement using u-shaped brace inside the plastic plate bracket assembly.

So, I gotta ask. Why didn't you use the relocation bolts in the rear hole? I know that's where the luggage rack is, but that shouldn't make a difference.

There was a docking port that was supposed to go on that bolt that mad there be too much slack. I was able to build it up inside with washers but if I were to bottom out I felt it was too close to the tire for safety when I did that....I could have dremeled off about 1/3 inch but the threading may not have had enough to give good grip so I just went with the other "makeshift" solution.

My wires for the rear turns run into the tail light and are plugged in there. No need to cut any wires to relocate the signals.

Are the signals now mounted in the plastic behind the rear fender? Think that will hold up under the constant vibration they're going to be dealing with? I looked at the ghost brackets and thought I could make them work even with my rear turns in the rear holes on the struts. But thats for next season I guess.

Yeah, that was my concern during our PM, but I might not have made that point clear. A sleeve/washers on the outside would have worked, but not as clean. I like the location you came up with. If you need another plastic/stock bracket, I have my take off I'm not using.

License plate bracket? If so....maybe. Who knows we'll see if it holds up under the new pressure of the turn sigs.

Well, kind of. The whole plastic stop light/license plate mount/bracket thing. It's the same thing you have, only I don't have turn signal holes drilled in the sides...

Personally, I think it's a great idea and will hold up well.
