i find this helpful also, if you push you bike up on a couple block of wood (under front tire) thats about 2-3 inches off the ground. also put some wood under your kick stand. now the jack will slide in nice and easy. this is needed for street bobs and helps on the fxdc. i have the sears red jack and have no problems with it after 2 years of use, the yellow may be lower profile so the wood may not be needed...

the yellow is lower but it still get struck, i'll use the blocks for sure

One piece of advice, don’t drop the jack on your toe. it hurts like a ***** f....

roflmao just get sum blocks of wood 1" by 6" ride bike up on lift bike = no problem
