thanks man i have been doing alot of research online and calling around today i will get the pushrods for sure. so much for some easy powder coating huh no im looking at a bunch more money lol its all good

does anyone know how the pc works on rocker boxes im swapping cams and heads and was wondering how it would hold up to the heat

I would think powdercoat would be fine since it has to be baked on in the first place.

Powder has no issues on rockers...I've allways done em!

I had gloss black powdered rockers on my old nightster and never had a problem. Alot depends on the quality of prep work and the powder used.

Stay away from adjustable push rods. You don't need them with the 54 cams and why ahve a componet that will wreck your ride if it comes loose.

The 54's have a smaller base circle. No need for adjustables, even with a thinner head gasket. Stock pushrods in mine.

I'm sorry, I don't agree with that statement because back in November I was riding on the interstate @ 75+mph with Sniper77 and one of his came loose. His bike shut down and there was no damage. He readjusted the pushrods and off he went.

54H does not need adjustables, it's just a waste of $100 and a chance to get them adjusted incorrectly.

Pulling the rocker covers off and lifting the rocker cradles takes less time than cutting out the old ones and adjusting the new ones, IMHO.
