Hmm, it's been a while, I don't recall a real long bolt. Bike is in storage, otherwise I'd go look. I can tell you I didn't have to jack the bike up, or remove anything to get the siggys off.

Looks good. I'm another cheap guy with $125 used saddlebags. Here's another way using an ebay Road Glide turn signal bar. It might not be the look some people want but it bolts on to a 2005 by drilling 2 holes, total cost $25.

Love it. I can go "Dyna Bagger" in a couple of minutes, or tear it all down and go bare in the same amount of time.
