Default Fat Bob to Street Bob Tank Swap?

Does the fat bob tank fit the SB? Much easier to find a used FB than a SB.

THanks
LRB

I think I saw the answer sometime in the past but I can't find it

The tank will fit the frame BUT, the console, top plate & speedo among other things are different.

Skip - I'm trying to get a 2008 fat bob tank on my FXD (2007).
Did you finally get yours rigged up?
Anything I should look out for?
Were you able to use anything from your FXD (fuel pump)?
Cheers.

Keep in mind the fat bob tank is about 1.5" wider than the street bob tank, so it will be a different look.

Thanks, yes, be good to have a little extra gas and a little different look too!

One thing I noticed, there is an extra tube "nub" under the bob tank that the FXD doesnt have. Is it for the vent tube?
