Every ride I have lines on my forks a few inches up as if the forks travel to leave those marks. They buff out fine but my buddy's lowrider don't do the same. Am I low on fork oil?

 

It could be just the dust seals doing their job but if the rings on the fork tubes are moist, your oil seals are weeping.
