Default Kuryakyn Vertical Plate Issue

Just as an FYI, I went to cover up the bike last night and I nudged the plate holder which proceeded to fall right off. The screws and the back of the swing arm clamp were gone. No idea when that happen and I was glad the plate holder stayed attached somehow to the swingarm, but it could of been bad being so close to the belt and such. So check your stuff..

On the upside, called Kuryakyn to see what my options were or if I was going to have to fab the rear of that clamp. They said the clamps were out of stock, but the customer service guy said he'd see if he could find one "floating" around. Called me back 20 minutes later with one ready to ship, no charge.

It's damn fine to see some companies still understand what customer service is.

They have earned my business, god knows the MOCO would of made me buy a whole new plate holder.

Wow. Did you loctite those screws? I had to since I couldn't get as good a grab on them as I would've liked.

If I remember correctly, yes. I think I'm going to replace the allen heads with something I can get a socket or wrench around.
