Default Rear Axle Covers

Anybody here have these? Do they look as good as the pics? Any trouble with hitting the exhaust on the right side? My SuperGlide exhaust looks pretty close to the axle. I'm wondering if they'll rub?

Yes - and no. I have them on my Low Rider and have no problem with clearance for my pipe. Hope this helps.

I have them on mine. Mine doesnt hit my D&D exhaust but I cant take it on and off with removing the muffler. I had SE slip-ons when I bought them and had no issues.

I have them with my SE IIs and they work great. They say they won't work with saddlebags, but I'm using Ghost Brackets and they place the saddle bags out far enough that they clear the axle covers.

Thanks guys! I already ordered them so I guess it's too late anyway! BTW, I have (for now) stock pipes, which look a little close to the rear axle on that side.

I noticed on the instructions for this part that it says, if castle nut is on the right side of the bike, you must remove the axle and reinstall so that it is on the left.
Can anyone confirm this?

The castle nut does have to be on the left side of the bike. The left cover is thicker/deeper to accomodate the end of the axle and the keeper
