I was all ready to order my Cycle Shack turnouts for my Bob tonight when I noticed the clamp that apparently accompanies these slip-ons. Part # is MTO129. Anybody have these or seen these on a bike? If it ain't one thing it's another when it comes to exhaust. I like these and for the money they seem great, but I don't want a gray unfinished metal clamp on my chrome exhaust.

Will the stock clamps from your bike work with these slip-on's???

 

Cycle Shack doesn't supply clamps with these. You have to use your stock clamps, which are hidden by the heat shields.

Those are the factory clamps, and they will be covered by the heat shield. When I installed my DynoPower slipon's I didnt have any problems, and they came out looking alot like the factory slipons but just sound WAY better. I have also heard that you might want to invest in a new set of the HD exhaust clamps, if you have ran very much on your old set. I used the set that came on my bike but I also only had 6 miles on the bike when I chaned the exhaust.

Jeb06Stbob, any chance you can post that pic a different way, when I click on it, all I see is the seat down to the top of one pipe.

OK now where did you get yours from? I can't get the USAtwins sight to work, and the best I can find for CycleShack turnouts #MTO129 is JimsCycleShop for $124. Any other suppliers that have closer to $100 would be appreciated.
