Exclamation Help! With New Pipe Install!

I just got my Vance & Hines Big Radious 2-1 pipes in. I got new exhaust crunch gaskets. The new pipes did not come with new exhust flang. The instruction said to use my old ones, but they don't come off because of the O2 senser port. The only way would be to cut them off my ols head pipes. Is this what is usally done?

Thanks

Mark

NO, don't cut anything.
The exhaust flange will come off. Look at them again closely.

I can't remember exactly, since it's been awhile since I did mine. But I think there is a snap ring or something like that on the flange. Anyway, the flange will come right off the head pipe. No need to slide it down the other end to get it off.

Use a snap ring pliers or something else to pull the circlips off the head pipes and the flanges will fall right off. If you don't have snap ring pliers use a needle nose pliers to bend them.
