The turn signals have to be cut to be fed throught the new bolt on the relocation.
The 2010 WG only has 1 bolt on each side plate, what are your detachable side plates clipping onto at the rear of the fender?

Why do the turn signals need to be relocated? Are they moving up, down, left, or right? Can you post a close up pic of the rear fender with the backrest and side plates off the bike?

I checked the HD site and I cannot find 53968-06b, but I see 53968-06C. Is that what you used?

Being that they used the fender struts off a different Dyna and not the older Wide Glides the turn signal is now sitting in the hole where the detachable mounts go . So you need to now use a relocation kit that moves the turn signal in order to mount the detachable mounts. The system was 1000% better on the 06-08 Wide Glides. On those and the FXDF you do not need to relocate the turn signals.

Yes I used the 53968-06b, since this is what my dealer had in stock. I was in the process of the switch when it was found out I needed the relocate. They relocate outward. See my garage for a scan of the install sheet.

NOW.....I'm going to re-locate them once again!!!! Just ordered saddlebags for a trip planned in 3 weeks. This time I needed another turnsignal relocate since the license plate is in the way of the bags. Never liked the plate position anyway. I've got the install sheets already..sorry there at work..post tonight. Parts numbers ordered this time are
Saddlebags.....90181-08a
Turn Signal relocation Kit......68544-10

Once they arrive and install, I'll post comments on this as well!!

Here's a pic of the kit

I think I'll like this much better. make the bike a little more symetrical instead of that silly plate flag off the lower left!!

I'm glad I found a place to see these mods, since there really isn't much out there. I can only find DWG purists, and the same recycled reviews.

Had mine for a month and was told that most items from a Street Bob will fit this bike, but it is hit and miss with DWG parts.

Has anyone pulled off the HD logo off the tank? I'm thinking of getting it painted and that stick on shield looks cheap to me, but I'm worried about damaging the paint before I get a design.

Oh, and thanks.

Plenty of people have pulled off the stick on tank badges without problems. Most used fishing line.

These parts, the signal relocation kit, and the saddlebags are already not availiable currently and only listed as a future shipment. I'm beginning to ; (1)look at crossing some other part from another bike such as a street bob, (2)look to the the aftermarket for an idea(butt loads of what "I" think is junk out there), or (3)make my own rom the picture provided. This isn't that far off since I have built a thing or two in the past. This is a pic of a bicycle I built a couple of years ago.

I want a bobtail fender.....

Sigh......
Your front end is the same as a 08 wideglide, so anything that fits a 08 WG front end will fit yours.
Your rear fender etc is original, but I believe the strut width is the same as the Fat Bob. So if you want a bob tail fender a Fat Bob may bolt right up. Though may need some fabrication, but could be done.
Exhaust and engine mods are same through dynas.

So what are you looking to do that can't be done?
