This has been a fabulous thread to follow and it takes a ton of time to read through all 74 pages! I am impressed with what has been done and look forward to contributing. I am headed to pickup a 2010 WG tomorrow locally in Dallas, and I am stoked. I have not been on a bike for quite a while, my brother has a 2007 Street Bob out in San Diego and we chat all the time. If you haven't ridden the new WG yet then you will absolutely love it.. Will quickly start to take up all of your time and attention, so if you have a misses then be prepaired for a lil jealousy at the home front. (lord knows I get my fair share of it from mine, LoL)

So I am thinking about raking the ol' WG out a lil bit more, do any of you much more wiser mech's know what all would have to go into doing this; how it would handle, if different at all; and how extensive/expensive it would be.. tips and tech would be greatly appreciated, along with all your opinions of course...

Congrats to you !!! It's been more than 10 years since I have been excited about a new Harley model and love the new wide glide. I got mine last Thursday and have about 650 miles on it already.

Id like to have one as well, but i suspect that you will have to buy it in Chrome then have it powder coated.

 

Do they powder coat is shiny??? Can't I just be ghetto and spray paint it?!
