Yep, in the head pipe.

It is not in the mufflers. It is located where the two headpipes come together as one, just prior to the mufflers. You have to install a complete exhaust system to get rid of them.

That is one way to get rid of it! Did you notice any difference in exhaust note or performance?

I also pulled the baffles out and replaced them with a set of 1.75 baffles I had laying around the garage so I can not comment on the sound and I threw on a set of XIED's at the same time so I really can't comment on the performance either. It turned out ok for a quick fix but I am not completely happy with it, I have a Thunderheader on the way.

Thanks. I was just curious. I ran Rush 2.25's for a while. I just recently installed a D&D Fat Cat. I'm really pleased with it.

FOR SALE

$12,500.00

Guys I have joined the ranks of the unemployeed after 16 years at the same company.

I can no longer afford to keep the new Wide Glide. I bought is brand new in December and it only has 56 miles on it. I have added $500.00 worth of options including grips, pegs and axle covers.

The bike is Crimson Red Sunglow and is in perfect condition. I rode it home from the dealer and I have only been able to ride it once since then for 10 miles due to the weather. It is stored indoors and in perfect condition.

Please tell your friends and if someone wants a steal on a bike this is it. I paid cash for it and have a title in hand.

Mark
