15,499... full pop, the dealers in so cal wont deal on 2010 models but they did give me 400 bucks towards anything they sell... i put it towards the pipe and air filter[/quote]

Did you pay MSRP OTD or MSRP plus tax/title/license/etc? I'm in OC and would be dealing with local dealers.

I have no problem waiting for 2011 models if that's what it takes to get a fair price on one. In an economy where every other motorcycle manufacturer offers deep discounts, and Harley's financially strained like the rest of them, they can suck it if they think I'm going to pay full price for a bike.

Does anyone make taller sissy bars for the 2010 WG? I think it'd look good on the bike, and give more room to tie a jacket, a bag, etc.
I agree, but I want somthing similar to the bar that is on it must a little taller.

There are a few I've seen like the Khrome Works one which is 13" and and you have to buy the sideplates. I know I saw a few others but can't remember what brand. What I have done is take the Harley Davidson detach sissy bar for the WG and Cross Bones and cut the detach side plates off and the middle pad mount out. I bent it in to the stock sissy bar width and I'm goign to cut the stock sideplates off the stock sissy bar. When I'm finished with it, it will be welded up like the stock and have a cleaner, more stock look than detach ones. It's very similar to the stock and has the old school look. Khrome Werks makes a easy detach seat pad for their sissy bar that I am going to try to work on the Harley sissy bar for when the wife rides. Hope this helped ya some

From what I saw the new bracket mounts where the blinkers are. I think the blinkers have to move.

Bob, you're in CA... if you don't mind telling, did you get stuck paying full price for your bike? Great looking bike BTW!

Got any pics? I would like to see the progress. Thanks
