2010 Wide Glide Owners - Let's keep track of our mods....
#4232
Well I just spent 20 minutes trying to get the front reflectors off. Thought I had some goo gone but there was literally 1 drop left in the container and that didn't go far. Attempted to use wd-40 along with a piece of string. NOT easy. The wd-40 might have actually made it more difficult.
Got the front ones off for now. Might mess with the rear tomorrow.

It's been a while since I spent much time in these parts, but I know of no better place to come for info. I have a 2010 Wide Glide with a few mods and I am thinking about lowering the bike an inch (front and rear should be done at the same time right?). I want to replace the rear shocks (stock Fat Bob shocks from '10) because the chrome has started peeling. What have you guys done to accomplish lowering? Is lowering even a good idea? Or should I just get new stock length rears? What are the kits and parts you've found to be reliable and doable for the garage mechanic. I've done all my mods but the actual paint on my tins, so I am fairly competent.
Thanks In Advance
