The Harley kit comes with pins and the terminal housing. Cut the old off flush and pull out the guage and fish the new wires down through the crimp on new pins and insert into terminal. Plug it in and done.

Got a set of ChromeWorks 3" Slash Down Slip-on Mufflers for my birthday a couple days ago. Huge difference! The bike has a voice now! Also, if anyone says anything about needing to tune after swapping slip-on mufflers, they're wrong. I actually gained MPG by switching from SE II's to these ChromeWorks slip-ons. They're working out great!

The install could have been cleaner on my part but I was working with a short amount of time and just wanted to get them installed. I'll clean it up eventually, good for now though!
