And buy a can of Oops,Goof-Off, or similar product at the hardware store or Wallyworld to get any sticky residue off.

Heat them with a heat gun or hair dryer and pull them away. Some people use dental floss to help cut through the foam tape. Then use some Goo-Gone or brake cleaner and wipe off the sticky residue. I need to pull the ones off my SGS this next spring.

I put some new bits on my bike to add to the American Indian theme of the bike and I love 'em. An American Indian medicine wheel derby cover, horn cover and battery cover. They're from www.skullmanonline.com,

First post here..and I have a lot of reading to do..
I just snagged a '04 and have a lot of things I want to do..ok everything.
Great to have a huge thread with guys that have already went through the ups and downs of mods you want to do.

MJR your bike is amazing I love the detail you have put a lot of work getting everything right on that bike. Imo best bike on the forum I have seen. Good job
