To all of you who lowered the rear. Did you also lower the front? Market is full of shorter rear shocks but what do you do about the front?

I didn't lower mine. I like the look of the OEM front and lowered rear. Also preserve some clearance without lowering the front also...

The vision I had for her pretty much. Blackout with the exception of the front end, engine, and springs (thanks for advice on leaving most bolts for contrast).... Eventually (if I don't switch to a Road Glide WHEN they come back out) there'll be a paint job and still debating stretching the rake more (cost and handling vs badass look).....

Check out pirell Night Dragons. I'm on my 2nd set and much better tire than the Stock. They grip real nice but you want get as many miles out of them as your stock Dunlops.

Whats the rear tire like? Is the width comparable to the dunlop width. I know a 180 is a 180 but actual tire width verbs.

Thanks they look nice

No the Dunlop is definetely wider. I just changed to the Night dragons a few weeks ago and I am dissapointed in how "thin" the rear looks. It was the first thing I noticed. But I also believe the Michelins are the same. It's the Dunlops that look really wide for being a 180 is my guess.

As someone else said though, they grip good as #*#!!

Nothing like checking to see if all my mods work when the tires hit the road-
A great trip from Seattle to Thermopolis, WY and back through Jackson Hole, and some super temperatures from 103 down to 85, and passing over the Continental Divide in sleet and hail with snow on both sides of the road.

Just got back and it's a pleasure to report the bike performed flawlessly as this was my first distance run with all my mods-
