I have been running Night Dragons for a couple years now and love the way they handle, but the mileage leaves something to be desired. How to the Avon Cobras handle? I hear people saying they get more mileage out of them. This is one of those rare "need both tires times" so I could make the change.

Anyone have experience with both?

Avon has had that tire out for a little while now...

I would definitely like to try the 190/60 17 Avon. I do have a couple of concerns though. My bike is lowered quite a bit with the burlys and the over all diameter of the stock Dunlap is 25.75in and the Avon is 26.1 That might not seem like much but do you guys think I would have rubbing issues. Especially two up and over bumps. As of now I have never had a problem with the Dunlaps. Also I believe our rim is 4.5 inches wide and the Avon specs say use a rim from 5 to 6 inches. Any thoughts? Thanks. I am definitely getting the Avon 90/90 21 for up front though.

Nice bike, may I ask who makes the seat and pillion? they look like a nice comfortable fit.

I just checked my bike and I have 2 vertical mount holes on each side, doesn't look like it would work?

bobg03 the seats are the same ones I have. La Pera Bare Bones. I really like the look but in my opinion they are not the best for long distances.

Hey Rock, could you please let me know how the Avon Cobra 190/60-17 works in the rear when you get it? If you look at my post a few above I posted my concerns. But I want it!

I saw your post above. I'll let ya know. I am prepared to go to stock shocks if need be. Basically the biggest reason I went with lowering shocks is that I hate the big gap in the fender. But if the tire is too tall, then I am going back to OEM. Smoother ride anyway. Don't think there will be an issue though...I am going more for comfort these days. Been on a few 1K plus mile trips lately and it has inspired me! lol
