It feels very safe and sturdy. I can't take corners as hard and fast as the skinny tire obviously so you do notice a difference there. But you can still ride hard. The overwhelming difference is the balance and the feeling of being safe. I can ride along vertical cracks like they are not even there, especially in corners. The tire rips through pot holes 100 times better than the stock tire, huge difference.

What bars are these and how close do they come to hitting the tank at full lock? I am looking to do a tank lift on my 12 WG and I have to find a bit taller bar.

bars are fatbob harley, stock risers. Im away from my bike right now but guessing the grips are about 1" lower than stock. They are flat with no rise. I moved my sigs to the forks, not necessary but they came DAMN close to hitting tank at full turn. Im also putting 1" riser spacers on to put the grips back to a "stock" like position. Im leaning a little to far forward for my liking. As far as a tank lift on my setup, not gonna work without equal riser increase. fork mounted sigs makes alot of room for tank clearance. If it were me I would get differnt fork sigs or just relocate them, then tank lift, then bars and risers or riser spacers.
