Wrong tire pressure?

This is as good time as any then to ask; what should you run? I am quite certain that I've seen the discussion here on the forums and alot of people seem to think that the recommendations in the service manual is way too low.

On the 2012 models (FXDWG among others) they changed the OEM tires to Pirellis (Night Dragons?). Is this right? I also seem to recall that the service manual states a quite higher recommendation in tire pressure on the 2012's than previous years.

I've putted around 12000 KM on the stock dunlop but the tire was way finished absolutely no thread left so 6000 miles are normal I think. The front tire didnt wear correctly maybe because of the weight that partially unglued or the fork seal that busted last season.

Ahh! I knew something was off.

So three options:
1. Dunlops
2. Michelins
3. Pirelli Night Dragons

I am still quite certain that the 2012 service manual states quite a higher tire pressure recommendation than 2010-11's. Is this because of the change of tires or that actually a new recommendation is done overall? I was just thinking because I have read alot of recommendations of higher pressure than is stated in the '10-'11 manual.

So I'll add up some pix since I've changed a few things.
So ... made a round ac cover out of shelving steel, primed, paint, airbrushed and cleared it ... no expert just having fun.
Took the oem levers grinded the round tip and drilled some holes primed, paint and cleared it ...
Took some car paint and a brush and blackened the ugly *** grey bolts
New Pirelli night dragons 90.90.21, 180.60.17
Took some car paint mixed some color to get close to the flaming colors and the brush and highlighted the tires....
Made an homemade upsweep exhaust with a funny sound ... had to take it off my wield leaked and the high temp gloss black didnt hold, still in the making ...
Cutted the fender, removed the tail light bought a bitch pad etc.

And some more pictures with the tire clearance for gtsouth. oh and you might have noticed that I tryied and made some mid floorboard that I ended up hating and remove because they were F????ing big but they looked somekind of good (to me)

Next mods will be blackening the top bracket of the shocks and bolts, blackening the signals at least the rear ones and get the visor lenses (my lenses melted...) Recut the rear fender a bit and repaint ... possibly try to do the same hot rod flame pattern on the 2 fenders. Get a bigger prettier front fender since this one is basically **** in the rain. Maybe new cam this winter and wheels ... I'm thinking of swapping bars again I like black bars might go for t bar not sure yet. Want to paint triple trees but not sure if it'll be nice with the chromed fork boots ...... I'm open for suggestions, comments and everything.
