I tried fitting my new Rear wheel today. A wicked image 21 x 5.5 but I can't fit it witHin the swing arm without it being offset to the left. I could remove the right hand spacer to get it further across but would need to get a different brake caliper bracket I think. Is there something simple I'm missing here? Or something else I need to replace? The MoCo says a 2010 FXDWG can take a 5.5 rear wheel without any mods. I just can't see how to fit it. Can anyone give me some advice?

There's a rev limiter on your bike if it's less What 10 years old? The bike won't let you hurt it. Don't worry about it - feel the bike young padawan.

Thanks to certain members on this forum HillBillieWG for starters, who just have to make mods to their bike that i love, i have decided to change my riser/bar set up. However im thinking about just changing out the risers to 6" risers and calling it done. That gives me 1.5 more inches.....

I would love to go with 8" risers, but looking at the cables that might be cutting it a little close? Would love user input on this???

Then also looking at it. Going to raise the cafe fairing up at least a couple inches. Thankfully with my homeade headlight relocation mount i can move that sucker anywhere i want....So all it will take will be an hour or so of adjusting and the like.......

Also, at 12K right now, replaced the back tire about 2k ago. Was looking at the front today and holy **** that thing is cupping BAD. Looks like i will have to replace it pretty soon......

I got 8" risers on my bike, and had no problem with the wires or cables.

Nice!

I need some input from you guys... I ordered the HD gloss black flush mount gas caps for my glide. I have also seen some pics of bikes with their dash's painted black and the stock chrome gas caps left on. I think both ways looks pretty good but I think if I did both it would be too much black. My front end, risers and bars are chrome. Thanks for any input.
