I know my bike has to much chrome for this thread I am just posting to ask a couple of questions.
First of all I love that horn cover Galdog. Was it like that when you got the bike?
Second, I am starting to go to the dark side and was wondering, can I wrap my pipes with the shields on some how or is that a ridiculous question?
On order- black rear sigs, RSD rurbine, black buly slammer and will be painting some ****

 

 

Hey yeah bro you can wrap your pipes with the heat sheilds on it all depends on you if you want that thick look or you rather take the sheilds off and wrap for a thinner look.. Honeslty bro this black thing is getting played out I see is black black black .. Its what I did as soon as I got my Fat Bob I blacked it out here is a pic of my bike 2 months ago, then I started to just see everyone going with the whole blacked out look and I started to add some chrome here and there for a nice contrast of black and chrome and here is an updated pic.. Anyway just my .02 before you start getting rid of your bling cause your bike looks real good man..

 

Thanks Los11, I just may keep it partially chrome. I am still waiting on my black burly shocks and the Dakota Digital gauge but I am starting to like the balance better now. Also thinking about removing the badges off of the tank. Oh ya, your bike looks great!

 

Here is mine. After much exhaustive "do it yourself" work (and a few more things to come in the future), she is nearing completion.

Not entirely Blacked Out, but just enough contrast for my liking.

 

I found the horn cover on EBay. but then found the guy's webpage.... Custom Kut Chrome. com.... It was about $80.
