Black is a cool color for a Dyna Mine is pretty "blacked out" but still need a few things that will be coming up this winter, like the front fork lower legs, the fender struts covers and a few more things
still working on blacking mine out. give me a break, i'm in Afghanistan. Bassani pipes, arlen ness big sucker air cleaner and stage one kit, powder coating the chrome away. so far the sissy bar and belt drive.
Guys, all you have too much chrome I think in the direction of blackening am champion of the forum
Ha ha ha...a box of crayons has more chrome than your bike has (which again, is freaking wicked!).
I want to blacken my lights and shocks.....or grey them out. Still debating. I'm going to get my tank and rigid solo rack painted a silver flake or silver denim over winter (Joe, I'm coming to you).
I also just got a Lindby engine guard...that might get the black treatment too.
Just in the process of adding more black to my ride (additional to previously posted pics). Triple trees, turn signals, outer primary cover, levers, brake pedal and fork legs. For the fork legs, I am going with a black textured finish (not wrinkle). I saw it on a swatch at my powder coating guy's place and can say I have never seen that finish used on any bike here or on the road that I have ever seen. Gonna keep the finish name under wraps until I get it done, but I think it is going to look sick as hell on the curved surface of the fork legs... More to come...
