Default 30 teeth trans pulley nut help

I am in the process of the 30t swap. I am having a hard time getting the sprocket nut off. I do have a locking tool and correct socket. I am using a 3' breaker bar with no luck.

My question is could I lightly heat the nut without damage to seals in the transmission.

Is it possibly left hand threads? 3' breaker bar should be more than enough.

Mine was a bitch also, I used a little heat and an electric impact wrench, I got the impact from Harbor Freight for about $50. The threads are right handed, it's even stamped on the pulley.

The threads are right hand. It says so in the book and also stamped on the pulley. I am going to try the impact again.

I broke a Craftsman breaker bar trying, my brothers air impact wouldn't do it either so I tried an electric rated@240lbsTQ and it did the job.

Ran up the street and used my friends Snap-on impact and came loose quickly.

Thanks for the help.

You folks just gotta put a lil 'a$$' into it. Use the force, Luke.

(Sorry I'm in a pretty good mood today and thought I might share the wealth.)

Swap went well. Just took the bike for a spin....wow! This is a must change part. The bike runs great with no lugging at cruise.
