RE: Got all my parts in, and on
Glad everyone likes my seat....... my wife hates it [:@]
I think I am going to swap it out (only has 150 miles on it) for a mustang touring. Even though I don't like the looks near as much, She has to be able to ride with me, or it's no fun (that is until she gets her own bike )
As for the mid controls. I like the mid's with the highway pegs, A LOT. My buddy has a soft tail standard, with forwards. We did 600 miles on Saturday, and I was able to adjust, from mid's, to Highways, whenever I needed to either change the pressure on my rear, or change my leg position. By the end of our day (we rode for 15 hours!), he wished he had two sets of pegs as well....

Windshield is Windvest....and I LOVE IT. I was pretty worried about getting a small windshield, cuz I tour a lot, but I don't really like the looks of the full blown windshields on the FXDB. I have been very pleased. It's the 16 inch smoked.
As for my highway pegs, I am 5'10, so not very tall at all, they are about perfect for me, knees just slightly bent.

My GF also hate that seat, to small for the passenger to be comfortable. She does like the passeng pillion though, and the seat swap only takes a second. just make sure you cover the blots up with somthig soft to protect the paint on your bikes fender. i use some foam w/ a sticky backing to hold it in place.
