I made one inspired by you. My neighbor had one of these he was going to toss out due to a damaged speaker which I replaced for $29.00

http://www.chromeglow.com/catalog.asp?prodid=548965

To make this setup work I took a section of 3" pvc pipe, put end caps on it, and cut an oval opening on the side of the pipe. Put this in the bag, drilled a hole though each end of the bag through the PVC end caps to mount the bullet speakers on each side of the bag. Not quite as clean looking as your rig. stuffed everything else into the PVC pipe through the oval opening. When I wired all this I spliced in some 14 ga wire so I could run my battery tender connection up under the tank to the steering neck so I can use this connection for either purpose. The wiring on the bag includes a power adapter socket so I can keep my music source (my mobile phone) charged. Now I'm considering some sort of phone holder I can mount on the pipe section in the bag so I can use the navigation feature of my phone. Last night trying it out I had a call come while I was riding listening to Allman Brothers Band. The music cut out and the ringtone took over. I pulled over and answered and the call was on speaker phone through the stereo system. Pretty loud, when I ended the call, it picked back up w/ the music.

I'll post a pic later, but riding last night I could hardly hear it but it's quite loud sitting still at a light. Just wondering if the sound would be any better on my Fat Bob w/a windshield.

I cant say enough good things about how and what this fork bag stereo does to my riding experience. its easly the best MOD iv'e purchased for the bike. on my ipod i switched for it to play with treble boost and had zero problem hearing it at 65 mph. cruising around while still keeping in touch with my bike and all the surrounds is a bonus for me. not to mention it fits in perfectly with the bike looks wise.

just have a few small install issues to work out and this sucker will have a perminate home.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but are you still selling these. My friend and I want one each. Do we just call the number on your website for Joe Knapp?

Thanks!
