I was looking on E-bay and saw a listing for these forward controls from Al's Bike Shop in Rome NY.

Has anyone had any luck with them?? Or am I better off going with the HD.

 

Hard to say since I don't see any brand name or anything. I'd probably go for it. Seems to me it would pretty hard to get a "bad" set of forward controls. Maybe the only thing you would have to worry about would be peeling chrome. But you could always have that re-done if the worst happens.

 

I got these with a 2" extension. I'm VERY happy with mine!! No issues with peeling chrome, poor quality or anything. Install was a breeze!!! Also they shipped'em out really fast. I live in Sweden and got mine within a week.

I'd definitely go with these over HD's own.

 

I'm not worried about the pealing chrome, I will probably spray black anyway. Thanks for the info!
