Sidekick seat and rubbing?
Well i just installed my new sidekick seat, I didn't put the protective film underneath because its carpeted. Then i started thinking that if it gets as dirty under here as it did my stock seat that dirt will rub. But the film they give does not cover the entire area that the seat would be touching the fender I think, but i cant see under there when the seat is on to see where its going to rub. also it hangs out over the sides. Does this film come off if i want to switch back the the stock? is there a better solution? oh yeah my paint is denim black and it seems to scratch and mark very easy.

I have the Sidekick Custom and change between it and a solo seat all the time. I've had no problems to date and I don't use the protective film. If you're nervous, another option is to bring the seat to an upholstery shop and ask them to apply a felt type material. Also, before putting the seat on, make sure both the underside of the seat and the fender are both clean.
