Yea, I used to come up there and fly with Cougar aviation on their Super Pumas for currency a few times a year. I know where Mustang Sally's is but never went there. I used to hang out at O'Reilly's and Green Sleeves mostly.

Ahhhh, the Cotton Club.

I've got to say I think you live in the best part of Canada. I absolutely love St. John's and Newfoundland in general. If I ever get back up that way I'll buy ya' a beer.

Thanks, IMHO you're not going to solve it on the street and no need in giving him any reason to remember you.

There is a local guy here with 18"s and what looks like 4" risers and he keeps on riding around so I figured the local cops don't care. I'm just curious about how I will do out of this area. Like it was said before, you have your D bag cops and your cops that will check out your bike and talk bikes with you. Smart thinking carrying that wrench with you, congrats and a good ending.

In North Wales in the UK drivers and Bikers have been given a £60 ( $120 ) fine and 3 points on their licence for going 31 miles in a 30 mile area, It went to court and was up held. Needles to say I don't go to North Wales. You need 12 points in the UK to get disqualified so you can imagine the problems in that part of the Country

As I've mentioned before, I know more than a few people in law enforcement. Most of them have been told, "write tickets for anything you can, we need the money".

My new saying, "Crime doesn't pay. Giving out tickets does."
