Default Would like to see pics of sundowner on FXDWG

I am seriously considering getting a sundowner seat but have yet to be able to find any pics of this seat on a wide glide. If anybody has pics of this setup I would really like to see them. Thanks.

Yup. I liked it at first. My g/f loves it. Very comfy for her. It pushes me too forward and makes me cramp in my upper thigh/lower hip area after about an hour.

I don't own a wide glide but I was thinking about getting a Sundowner, maybe I should be looking for something different. I don't want to move any closer to the bars.

I don't have a wide glide but have a fatbob. I had stock seat on it. My wife wasn't real comfortable on stock seat. I figured I better make her comfortable since it's all about her now. I looked at 2 seats, the touring seat and sundowner. The size is about the same(maybe one inch difference for driver, passenger is same width). I bought the tour seat and took one trip. It sets me straight up but had good back support. I didn't care for it on the Fatbob. I took it back and bought sundowner. Sundowner leans back more. We took a road trip Sat (2.5 hours one way), she loved it. I was concerned with size of seat on bike. It is a big seat but comfortable. I can also tell a difference in thigh area for me too(wide). For me personally riding solo I will use stock seat, but when she is on back I will use sundowner. Hope my .2 helps......Be safe, watch out for the nuts.

Wow, yeah that is way bigger than I thought, I knew the dimensions but did not picture it looking that big for some reason. I guess one option is to get the sundowner and just swap it out on the days she is going to ride. The Corbin Dual Tour seat looks and sounds good and is a bit smaller but $550 is out of my price range right now. The Harley Pillow-Look seat might also be an option, kind of ugly but it is smaller than the sundowner and the price is right.

I might be persuaded to sell, if the price is right. I've been wanting to just buy the matching passenger seat to my mustang solo anyway.

Harley makes a seat with a drivers backrest almost as big as the sundowner. You can get it from www.surdyke.com for about 400.00 part# is 53042-01A
