I really dont understand why you would want to put one on yer bike.
Each to there own and all that but in my opinion its horrid and that sort of thing should stay on Jap crap.
No Offence intended but you did ask what we think

Um yeah. Go to Frisco and tell one of the Hell's Angels that their FXR's with fairings are Jap Crap...Let me know how that works out for ya.

You Are entitled to your opinion, and it Was asked for. A simple, "I don't like it" would suffice.

Well, I did ask for opinions and Bobber Jay is certainly entitled to his. It's probably a safe bet that Jay isn't going to purchase one of these fairings anytime soon. Btw- the fairing is made in the good old USA by HD not by any Japanese (or Jap if you will) manafacturer.

I was out on the highway (about 70 mph) yesterday and the fairing does help with the wind in the chest feeling, but doesn't do much to prevent the wind in the face feeling...that's a good thing, right?

We all want to make our bikes unique. To make them "our own." We don't want cookie-cutter bikes that all look the same. We pay $10g's plus for these bikes and they still aren't good enough...we immediately want to change them.

The direction I'm taking my bike isn't for everybody or anybody other than me. I do value the opinions of others though, whether they are in line with my opinions or not.

I like it very much. I have one question though. Is that some sort of hydraulic clutch? I have never noticed that kind of set-up before.

I like it. And I would paint that battery cover black if it were mine.

I dig the look, nice job.

At first I hated the fairing, but they are starting to grow on me.
