Unhappy Floorboards are gonna have to go

I hurt my back a few weeks ago and haven't been able to ride until a couple days ago. I went for about a 50 mile ride and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to scrap the floorboards now and put forward controls on. With this pinched nerve I just can't take riding with my legs bent--I need to stretch out. I was in agony by the time I got back to the house.

So, if anyone is interested, my complete floorboard set up will be listed in the for sale forum in the near future.

I don't think that will help except on long Interstate jaunts, which I rarely do. All during the ride the other day I tried putting my feet on the crash bar to stretch my legs. It gave me some momentary relief but every time I had to pull back to the floorboards the pain would come back.

Ordered the forward controls yesterday and they should be here by UPS on Friday. Weather permitting, I'll put 'em on Saturday and then my floorboards will be for sale.
