Default The BEST $5 Baffles ever! That's right Five $

I have been going through slipons from the swap and sell for a while now trying to get the sound. Well the closest I have gotten was this week with Khrome Werks 3" HP +...DEEP blub sound and great at idle but would blat when rolling on the throttle. I thought about it last night looking at overpriced baffles and thought I could do better.
Went to the orange box today and picked up some crumb catchers. Check it out...

Straight thru center blats too much

got me a $2 crum catcher:

tied it in tight with twist wire:

fits like a glove:

putting it back in the pipe:

Man it sounds shweeeeettt. All low blubs like a boat and no blats!

Try it out if you have the same problem.

Hey Mud if worthy drop this in your $50 and under section!

Good luck

The cups drop into the back (header side) of the pipe and are perforated. Send the wire through the whole thing (baffle holes and cup holes) then twist tight.

10 minute job and awesome results! I will be selling these patent pending baffles in a kit with tie wire for 45.99 plus sh+h...err maybe on the other forums.

Nice! I have the same 3" HP 3 mufflers from Krome werks. Did the baffles come out easy without having to pound them out from the other side? Also, are the stock HP3 baffles wrapped in fiberglass?

Yep...came right out and yes they are wrapped. Really makes a nice difference. Let me know what you think if you do it. 10 minutes tops.
