For grins I tried this $5 baffle on Rush 2.0 slip ons and it pretty much killed much of the low rumble at idle. Now sounds a little harsh but I don't notice any difference at higher RPM. If you have rush slip ons, don't bother, although if the constable puts a rod up the muffler he will now hit something a little solid.

Here is my clip. a great< great MOD indeed. it definately deepens the tone of an already deep set of Pipes.

That's pretty wild...it does exactly the opposite on the KWs.
It brings the deep and mellows the harsh.
Maybe a few more will try it with different brands for ***** and grins.

It'll be interesting to see how long the cups last, seems like they'll burn out pretty quick. It also seems odd to put out the bucks for free flow mufflers and then cut the flow by at least 50%, for the sound? If you're using a heavy breather, and did a fuel map recal, then you're gonna need to recal back again to compensate for the reduced exhaust flow because you'll be running too rich... imo.

I checked the cups and being chromed they have no signs of wear. A little backpressure is a good thing or else we would all be running drag pipes. Think of other baffles that have a big following such as BCT's that'll cost you some big $. The bike ran better with a little more throttle response. Even if the cups only lasted 2-3 years no big deal. I would think that if anything would go it would be the re bar ties that I used to tie them in and that would only cause a rattle until you tied them in again.
