Yep, that's part of it, funny thing is they are loud enough that my buddy kept trying to shift his bike while listening to my exhaust tone; it was really messing him up one afternoon.

AV....think you'll really like the Pro Streets..I do....three stage 2-2 pipe that affords some low end torque conservation due to their design. Yes, they are loud even with the baffles and they have a unique low frequency sound. Looks like you like black from your sig bike, so you could consider what I did to save $$. I found a set of damaged (just chrome) PS on ebay for $100 and took them to sandblasting co and had chrome removed for $20. Rattle can thermal coated the pipes for $15.

I've had eight different exhausts. Bought a T-header off a forum member 2 weeks ago. The Thunderheader is an awesome pipe, best so far. If you do get the Bassani's, I would hold on to your Thunderheader for awhile, just to make sure you ain't gonna change your mind.

That's what I was planning on doing, just in case. But I'm sue I'll like the pro streets though. I think I might just buy a set of polished stainless steel bassani's off Ebay for 85-05 models and modify the bracket to fit. Donr101395 helped me out with how he did his, so I feel pretty confident to do it.

You have a badass ride my friend! Those pipes fit your ride PERFECTLY! I've never seen pictures of your bike before. Looks so sick! What paint did you use on the pipes? I used BBQ high heat paint on my thunder headers, but they have a flat black look to them. Yours is like a semi-gloss almost. I think I like that better!

The prostreets are sweet. I'm undecided, but I've considered even trading my V&H for a set. Good luck finding a set dude.

Do you use heat shields for these pipes? I'm afraid of getting them and they burn the **** out of my leg. Last set of Bassani pipes that I had (which I regret selling) was the 2-1 road rage and it had no heat shields. It was get UNBELIEVABLY hot. Couldn't bear it anymore and sold em'.
