Looks like the wife and I are driving to Iowa to look at a 2007 Wide Glide on Sunday. What the heck, it is only 650 miles each way. If I get it then I will post pics when we get back into town on Tuesday.

Sucks when you can't find what you want close to home. At least you can get in a nice ride if you get it, unless you decide to load it up and carry it home.

It's worth the drive.

Thanks all, I'm sure I will love it. I am going to have to trailer it though, being out of state, I'm not sure about getting the temp tags in IA. Oh well, plenty of time to ride once I get back to CO.

I think you could get temp tags. I bought a car in NJ and got temp tags so I could drive it back to SC. Just have all the paperwork in order.

Oh and EXCELLENT. Everyone always compliments my 07. They always seem to ask "how much did that rake cost you?" They think it's an add-on. 34 in the neck...2 in the trees

Yeah, I'm pretty excited. Perhaps if the purchase happens early enough on Monday and if there is a DMV office in the town of Atlantic, IA I might be able to get the temps.
