Yeah, I'm pretty excited. Perhaps if the purchase happens early enough on Monday and if there is a DMV office in the town of Atlantic, IA I might be able to get the temps.
I never knew they even made temp tags for vehicles you buy used from a private seller...all these years I've just been making my own! Never been pulled over or informed of these until now.
Gman, your WG is prolly one of the most beautiful bikes I've seen in awhile only saw that color scheme in person on a sportster. Seeing as the WG is my favorite of all the Dynas (sorry to my FXDC, I love you just the same), you are a lucky rider...
Well, we got her home late Monday night. Man was I beat Tuesday but that did not stop me from playing a bit of course. We got our temp tags, picked up a windshield, "luggage rack", washed the bug carcasses off and putted around town for a bit. I paid $12,250 for her which I think is a decent deal considering the upgraded chrome wheels, pegs and foot controls, grips and she only had 471 miles when I handed over the cash. Still needs pipes and bags but that will have to wait till I sell my Virago. I think I will go with the V&H Big Radius 2-2 for the pipes if I like the sound, just going on looks right now.
JB...Big Radius look good on WGs. You mentioned upgraded wheels. I see spokes. That isn't an upgrade.
A dealer told me that the smooth/round chrome spoke wheels was an upgrade from the standard stepped stainless spokes. Maybe not, just going by what I was told after the fact.
I guess when you mentioned 'upgraded wheels' I automatically thought billet wheels. Having spokes and loathing the cleaning process, I would go to something a little more solid.
Either way, congrats and many happy miles. It's a nice looking bike, nonetheless.
