Lowrider trees plus raked cups?
Just been reading up on rake/trail, cups, trees, etc.. and was curious about something. I'm interested in the possibility of running raked cups and swapping to LR trees. Lowrider trees are raked 1.5*, right? Were all years raked, and which years used the 39mm forks? If it's feasible, you could add on a pretty simple 4.5* for a total 32.5* rake, I would think. (I read a lot of traveler's posts and did some brainstorming.) I realize that most do the WG swap for more rake, but I Much prefer the narrow glide look. What are your thoughts?
Side note, if possible, this setup would be run with a 21" up front.

the dyna's ran the 39MM tree's up to 05 then went to 49MM in 06.The lowrider rake is in the neck not the tree's.You can change the cup bearing with offset cups to get a little more rake, but I dont know how much it will get you.You may be able to get aftermarket trees for more rake but they will cost you a lot!

Not to argue, but you're not completely correct there. JMP has installed the lowrider trees, they have 1.5* of rake built in. Several people have used the raked cups, look up Traveler, they provide 3* of rake, as advertised through Vulcan. Gaining rake solely through raked trees is not an option for me. Raked trees are for correcting trail, not adding rake. I'm not willing to totally kill my handling for more rake. Thanks for the heads up on the 39mm years, I appreciate it.
