Bike to bike communications

Bike to bike communications
I'd be interested in hearing from people who have a bike-to-bike setup for talking among riders. Any good systems out there?
I was checking these out - the Q4s due out later this year with stereo bluetooth.

Would be nice to be able to pair with my iPhone 3GS for stereo sound, too; but would like to be able to talk with fellow riders while on long rides, too.

Are you familiar with any of the scala rider products? If you like the rider solos, you will like the Q2s. The fidelity isn't that great and some helmets are difficult to fit, but they work. Helmet noise may nearly overwhelm the music anyway, but voice comes through OK. They are set up with a voice activated priority function, where bike to bike will interrupt MP3 and then go back to MP3. I don't have first hand knowledge of how well this works in a noisy helmet.

I pull up close to the person i want to talk to and squeeze in the clutch... if that does not work, i keep the clutch in and kill the motor, we have our nice conversation at about 80mph, then turn back to run , dump the clutch keep riding...
we tried the cup with strings tied to the bottom but that did not work
in all seriousness though... i got a el cheepo rider/passanger comunication kit on ebay about a year ago... it works great! i was amazed... granted i have used it one time... but it worked

I've got the Scala Q2 multiset. Works great. Only good for about 1/4 mile, so you can't get too far away from each other, but crystal clear at 70 MPH. Also have the bluetooth to the cell phone, which sometimes freaks me out, when riding down the hiway and you hear in the background, "Say hello", and it's the wife that's called and the wind answered the phone automatically.
I picked mine up at www.techncyclegear.com He's a sponsor on this forum and offers a 10% discount to forum members. Great service as well.

I have the Q2 and use it on a half helmet. I do not like the rider to rider or passenger communications for the following reason. The VOX will not turn off due to the wind activating it, therefore you are forced to hear the other person the entire time. You also hear their radio very clear and they can hear yours, a pain in the posterior if you are listening to different stations plus it drains the battery fast when constantly on two way mode.
