I love a good rattle can job.
You can touch up whenever you feel the need to, and always have perfect looking pipes.

Nice job, did my heat shields a couple years ago, it's amazing how much a couple dollar can of spray paint can make. Really changes the look.

Brentster...you have to use a hi-heat paint. Some use bbq paint as it can withstand the temps the exhaust will endure.

I bought some high temp paint from my Indy (can on left). Baked the shields in oven for an hour to cure. Like SC-Longhair said, BBQ grill paint will work just fine. The can on right I bought at Advance auto. It's a slightly different texture then the Fast-Black.

The bike looks great BOB!!

I want to put some black Rush slip-on's on mine and I'm thinking about painting the heat shields. To paint over the chrome what kind of prep work will I have to do??
