+1!!!!! I was thinking the same thing and consistent with the code. Probably intermittent connection and when you get on it, it pulls the wires a part and kills the injector.

charge your battery, if it isnt full charge it will effect the efi and makes the bike sputter badly, trust me. jackyl

this sounds similar to a problem i had... was thinking it was the Idle Air Controller also. but i never had any diagnostic codes. i would venture to say it was either caused by your loose battery connection, which you already corrected. or also as said above, the rear injector wire was is broken inside insulation, if you run your bike and try and move the wires around, you may get it to cut out. if so, repair or replace.

I don't know what that part# is you listed since not at home or in front of my manuals.

Like already mentioned check the wiring to your rear injector very closely. Mine and some others have had the wire brake inside the insulator.

Here is my post with pics. Had the same code as you and symptoms.

I took the battery out and charged it. did not take but 15 min for full charge. Not the battery.

Also pulled seat to check under. Nothing I could see.

Injectors hard to get to, did not want to pull tank tonight.

Ok, started bike, let run while playing with wires around injectors. Was able to get it to idle faster and rougher while playing with wires. Can't tell if its the injector wire or wire going into top of throttle body. Time for bed.
