Help, Barely made it home . Bike sputtering.

Injector wires are know for being installed in the factory with no service loop. So sometimes the wires are pulled when the rubber mounted engine is rocking. The wire insulation stretches but the wires don't and break, so you could have a bad wire but it won't be visible.

Just walked in the door. 3 shots of anejo teq and I am feeling better. Bike is sputtering and will not run under load. Checked spark plugs, all fuses, new gas, battery terminal was a little loose , fixed that. riding 250 miles to get home. Engine light comes on and off. Everything seems fine but runs like sh-----t. Any Ideas. Guess its going to the stealer soon. could not find any loose connections . Any ideas , Thanks.

this sounds similar to a problem i had... was thinking it was the Idle Air Controller also. but i never had any diagnostic codes. i would venture to say it was either caused by your loose battery connection, which you already corrected. or also as said above, the rear injector wire was is broken inside insulation, if you run your bike and try and move the wires around, you may get it to cut out. if so, repair or replace.

I don't know what that part# is you listed since not at home or in front of my manuals.
Like already mentioned check the wiring to your rear injector very closely. Mine and some others have had the wire brake inside the insulator.
Here is my post with pics. Had the same code as you and symptoms.
