Default Question: Breather Tubes

I am getting some oil in my air cleaner through my breather tubes. Can I replace the hollow bolts in the breather tubes with solid bolts, or will that create other problems?

If not are there any other solutions to this problem?

Thanks for your help.

You have too much oil in your engine. Only solution is to drain a little at a time and re-measure. Breather bolts are hollow for a very, very good reason.

You can use a turkey baster to extract a small amount of oil at a time. Easier and cleaner than draining through the drain plug.
