Default Vrod Wheels on a Fat Bob

Could this work? Harley has the 18 rear for a 180 and the 19 front is for a 120 and is duel disk. Is the axle size different? The wheel installation kit says 1 inch axle.

I like were your going with this... All I've ever seen compatibilty wise was supposedly 18" in front and back so I also wonder if there would be any modifications needed for the front fender and/or brake caliper positioning?

It looks like it would work. I dont know the width of either wheel. At a minimum the front would look good with the stock rear Fat Bob wheel. Even better both powder coated solid black. Harley makes the reactor wheel in black with the orange stripe but only in a 240 for the rear.

Hi,

I know that Harley doesn't bother to make a wheel per model but just one and then some adjusters to fit the different model families, so you probably could make this one fit on a Dyna with the right adapter...

nice wheel !

I don't know why no one has done this yet. As soon as I read the title of the thread.... I thought.... great idea !

That's a cool looking wheel for a nice price. If it's just a matter of the right spacers, that will be a great mod.

I've also thought about doing this. I just wasn't sure if it would be too big of a head ache to make it work. It looks like it should work. You can find those wheels pretty cheap on eBay.

I've seen V-Rod wheels on Dyna's before, so I would assume it probably is just a bolt in or will take very little modification to make it work. Here's one below with V-Rod wheels, brakes, sliders, slider covers, and fender. Although not the same style that your considering, it probably will have the same fitment.

Interesting .... I like those wheels .... would consider these over lots of others out there. Price is great too.
