FWIW, once you adjust your belt at the 5000 mile service it stretches very little more than the initial break in. Some guys wait until 10-15k or tire replacement to adjust it if it is not making noise. Me, I do all the wheel maintenance when it is tire time unless I have an issue.
Rear tire: Belt adjustment, swingarm bearing check, rear brake pads if they are over 70% gone, rear rotor check.
Front tire: Brake pads, fork oil, bearing check, steering head & fallaway adjustment.
I just figure if you are getting in there...why do it all over again?
