For the tires: Home heating oil on a rag and just wipe them down. Also a "used car" trick but works good. No safety issues and before it's said , it takes a lot to ignite heating oil.

I'm sorry, but you don't want to put any kind of "oil" on your tires.

Use on sidewalls and dries up with a rag. Been doing it for a long as I can remember without any problems. Your choice , just saying. I was a mechanic for 40+ years and did this.

I use simple green. Between washes I mist a some simple green on the tires, scrub them down with a brush and wash them down with a qrt. garden sprayer towel dry and black tires is the product. 10min tops.

HEHE! Any chance I get I am on that bike. I have only had the bike for a year and when I'm not riding I'm on here or figuring out where I can get my next mile. I must be honest though mostly back and forth to work and then back in the shop out of the sun untill the next ride.
I freakin love this bike. when I first purchased it I thought I was making an impulse purchase as I was going to have to wait for a night train and this one was on the floor screaming my name ( then I had to wait on another one because that one was sold).

You can use Pledge on your glasses too. It fills fine scratches and makes the lenses look like new.
