thanks a bunch..my dealer wouldnt believe that this included my model. i called harley and they are looking into it. they wouldnt fax me copy. dealers only. said they would call dealer but havent heard anything yet. i took it in when it was about new and had them listen to the clunk. they readjusted the stearing head and said its all they could do. a while back i took a copy of the bulletin into them but it was one that someone text copied and they didnt think it was correct. obviously they didnt bother to check it out. i will take this to them and hope that harley calls too. i'm worried that with over 24,000 miles of clunking, my bearings and races will be shot. if i'm going to pull it apart to re-grease it i might as well make sure it is put back together with the correct parts. maybe harley will help me out. doubt it, but its a nice thought..\\

Man...thats horrible. I remember I rolled into my dealer. Said "I got the front end clunk." All he said was "Ok. I'll have to order the part. Stop back in a week and we'll fix it." Why is something like that SO HARD for dealers??? Went back a week later, rolled the bike in 15min later he rolled the bike back out for a test ride. Test ride was good. Me, along with my bike was free to go.
Is this because MoCo is hurting and maybe being stingy on the warranty work?
