No worries, I have just seen him open up a new post just to advertise there site. I was just curious if he worked there or had some kickback with them. Didnt want to come off as rude. Sorry.

They sell there service manuls for 40$. How much do they charge for shipping?

I got my manual from the dealer for 49.95. No shipping and go it that day when I needed to figure our something.

Sorry for getting you all upset.

The derby cover can be easy or it can be a real pain. Be absolutely sure you're using a T27 torx bit of good quality. I managed to strip four of the five and break four Craftsman tools doing it because the bolts were over-torqued. Then had to drill out the bolt heads.

KBFEDLI, Do you work or get some sort of kickback from Zannottis ? You are really pushing them pretty hard.
Wow......wish I did...LOL. They are a real good source for genuine HD stuff and honest and offer quick on line quotes. So why not recommend them? I live in Ohio so my tax savings usually outweighs shipping plus the stuff comes to me UPS which is really easy too. I have probably saved about $350 since January. I figure this kind of information is what this forum is for. My $.02.....

I'll throw a good word in for Zanotti's too. They just saved me about $70 on a seat and I got it just as quick as if I would have had to order it from the local dealer. I even gave the dealer a chance to match the price. They wouldn't, I said OK, ordering from Zanotti's!

Never tried Zanotti's, I've always used Chicago HD. phor big ticket items, with a 20% discount still comes out ahead once you add shipping. Then again, most times my dealer doesn't have the parts I want.

It depends on the derby cover. You will definately need a different one then stock, but I believe there are different ones phor different derbies.

A J&P Cycles staff person states that the gasket recommended by them is the same one as the factory gasket.

I'm about to install the Jack Daniel's derby cover, I already installed the timing cover. I was surprised to see nothing behind the timming cover when I took it off.
