Smile Leather Pro Saddlebags review

Excellent post! I'm liking these saddlebags. After reading this thread and the company's web site, I'm still confused about one point. Can I mount these bags on the H-D mounting kit for the QR sissy bar, or do I need to mount a set of bolts provided by Leather Pros, which will also work with the QR sissy bar? Thanks...

They come with 3 sets of bolts - for whatever application you have. It's a very simple setup/install, which is one of the best things about it. If it takes more than 15 minutes to do, it's because you spilled your beer and had to clean it up....

Bringin up an old post to try and figure something out...

If I were to use these bags, and bolt them to the quick release plates on my sissy bar, do you think they would clear the turn signals?

Unless I am reading it wrong, the signals need to be moved on my 2006 Bob...please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Really don't want to move the sigs, but if I want to run bags, I may need to move them and my plate mount since it's on the swingarm...just don't really want to move things around unless I have to.

Thanks guys for any info you can give!

lookin at the pic in your signature, it looks like they're in the same place as an FXDWG. I'd email the guys at Leatherpros and confirm - you'lll get a prompt answer. If they're in the same place as a Wide Glide, you're good to go without any issues.

Leather Pro's or Boss, both are very high quality bags with a couple of small differences. They pretty much come from the same company's though so neither would be the wrong choice. Pick whatever mounting system suits you and roll with it.
